Race Date: May 31st, 2014
Race Description: This is the 2nd race of the Michigan Half Marathon Race Series. It is open to the public for anyone to participate in. It will be the 4th year that this event has been hosted. This course is on a medium to difficult trail system that is mostly single track trails for each the races.

Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before the Tuesday of the race week to be eligible for a partial refund of $15. Transfers or deferments are permitted.

10k/5k: Free entry into any MI Half Series Event
Obtaining Age Group Awards:
The half marathon age group awards are actually a code that can be used to redeem a free pair shoes online. The 10k and 5k awards are also a code that can be used to register online for any Michigan Half Series race for free. All codes will be e-mailed out on the Monday after each event.

Things to do While Waiting During and After the Race:
(Fishing, Disc Golf, Softball, Basketball)
If spectators wanted they could watch the start of the race while fishing. There is also a nice disc golf course that I see a lot of people out on. Across the parking lot there is also a baseball diamond and basketball hoop.

Course Description: A hilly mountain biking trail that has a lot of turns. Each race will follow a different colored pin flag. Runners will be guided by the pin flags and large block arrows from start to finish. Each mile will be marked with large 20x30 signs. The course is not spectator friendly except for the last half mile.
